Day 2: Tarangire National Park and Return to Zanzibar

Early Morning:

• Depart for Tarangire National Park:

  • After an early breakfast, head out towards Tarangire National Park (approximately a 2-hour drive from Arusha).

Mid-Morning:

• Morning Game Drive in Tarangire:
  • Upon arrival, embark on a morning game drive in Tarangire. This park is famous for its large herds of elephants, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and many bird species. It’s a great spot to experience a less crowded but equally beautiful safari.

Afternoon:

• Lunch:
  • Enjoy lunch at a designated picnic area or at the park’s lodge.

Late Afternoon:

• Final Game Drive:
  • Continue your afternoon game drive in Tarangire, capturing the incredible landscapes and wildlife one last time.

Evening:

• Return to Arusha:
  • After the game drive, drive back to Arusha.

Late Afternoon:

• Fly Back to Zanzibar:
  • Catch an evening flight from Arusha back to Zanzibar.
